If you can't find the information or service you are looking for, there are a number of ways to contact the Government of Ontario.
MEDI’s programs and funding page will provide information on the resources available.
The ministry is committed to funding research excellence in Ontario, and MEDI funding decision processes are transparent and rigorous, based on due diligence.
Due diligence involves independent, arm’s-length assessment of the applicant’s merits. Research programs involve a scientific peer-review by panels composed of world-class academics and industry experts; commercialization and innovation programs involve an independent technical and financial review of submissions.
MEDI program criteria are guided by Ontario’s Innovation Agenda (OIA). OIA was developed with advice from the academic and business community to set out strategic directions to support and drive innovation. MEDI programs are supported by close to $3.2 billion in spending over eight years. They provide Ontario’s internationally recognized research and innovation community with tools they need to remain globally competitive.
