Developing DNA tools to identify and track bioterrorism sources
Provincial Funding: $139,557
Dr. Barry Saville at Trent University is developing DNA analysis tools to identify and track the source of microbial pathogens infecting crops, animals or water supplies as a result of bioterrorist attack or a natural outbreak. His work will lead to better protection of our agricultural crops and water supply.
