Ontario Research Fund - New Infrastructure Program Guidelines

The Ministry has revised the infrastructure programs of the Ontario Research Fund (ORF) to correspond with the new funding programs at the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI). Revised Research Infrastructure Program Guidelines and Application Instructions are now available on the MEDI web site.

We invite Ontario institutions to apply to the ORF before April 6, 2006, for grants to match CFI awards that may be made under the Leading Edge Fund (LEF) and New Initiatives Fund (NIF).

We also invite Ontario institutions to apply to the ORF for grants to match CFI awards that may be made under the Leaders Opportunity Fund (LOF) or the Canada Research Chairs Infrastructure Fund (CRCIF). Please use the new ORF Research Infrastructure application form regarding any new proposals that you may submit to CFI starting in 2006.

Please note that institutions should use the previous ORF Research Infrastructure application form to request a grant to match any LOF or CRCIF proposals that were submitted to the CFI during 2005.
